This work by Theo Jansen is particularly interesting due to the way it lumbers gracefully (I know and oxymoron right?) across a landscape. The juxtaposition of size to elegance of movement is intriguing along with the geometrical elements combining with movement to create an organic form. The other aspect which has design potential is the way in which the form changes the existing landscape and infringes on our perceptions.
